- Capture a single portrait in the studio using a medium or large format camera and attempt to reflect character and personality into the photograph from which ever angle you choose
- Try to consider some meaning in the image which emphasises the power of photography as a visual language
- The final submission prints are to be made from 5x4 negatives whilst preparation and work prints can be made from digital shots or medium format negatives
- One black & white print and one colour print are to be submitted from the 5x4 negative
